So where does it begin? At Geraniums in art, it felt essential to embrace a multitude of perspectives in the creative journey. To uncover the origin, consider an artist's study drawing: a more refined preliminary sketch that homes in on specific details, whether it's a body part, figure, or object, allowing for mastery before the final masterpiece. Others may refer to this as a Pre-sketch: a foundational phase that meticulously lays the groundwork for the artwork to come. Included are the creator's notes on the paper, reinforcing that this is a study from life.

Mr Nash was a self-taught artist who was an official war artist during both World War I and World War II. His contributions to the art world were recognised in 1964 when he was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE). Additionally, he was a member of the Royal Academy (RA).
